| Summary on back cover of the former physical novel: In the Orianus Star System, the oldest races have been stirred to action. One of these races was thought to be extinct for four millennia and had been all but forgotten. The Shatalain are not completely gone though. A series of events will stir the ancient Ubrixes race into action, as their leader develops a new thirst for conquest. The heroes of the other races will find themselves caught up in the conflict between the two oldest and most powerful races in the star system. How will they challenge a foe superior to even the Ptahmen? Unexpected help from across the stars will aid them, yet they will still face a foe superior in technology and numbers. Will the Orianus Star System fall completely under the control of the Ubrixes, or will the challengers find a way to succeed against all odds? |
